Raa, for Racecar?
Raa. The simplest, yet hardest, letter I have ever learned about. So let's do this together. Like the english letter "R", but more sofisticated. But we'll have an entire chapter on that, later.
Name: Raa
Sound: R (ex: Star, )
Makhraj: The Makhraj for Raa is, like the other letters, simple, yet hard. Find the edge where your top row of teeth meet your gums. The sound of Raa comes from about 1 millimeter higher from that point. Also, note that when you say Raa, the sides of your tongue will turn upwards.
