Saud is another one of those letters that cannot be explained according to English. Because of it's unique Makhraj, it neither resembles "SW" or "SUA" in the English language. Learn carefully.

Makhraj: Makhraj for Saud Is NOT simple. However, since it shares its Makhraj with Seen and Zaa, I can explain it a bit better. Try putting a marble on the center of your mouth, and then say "Saud".
